Offline privacy.

Effective October 9, 2026. This page covers Our Little Carebook Offline, the separate device-only edition operated by Salas Software LLC.

Records on your device

The Offline app stores child profiles, care records, photos, reminders, growth information, and Milk Stash locally. It does not require sign-in, connect to Firebase, upload analytics, or use subscription billing. It does not automatically share records with another caregiver.

Backups and exports you choose

You can export backups, CSV files, and PDF reports. These may contain sensitive information and are not password-protected by the app. You choose the destination. A cloud drive, email app, or other service you select may upload or process the file under its own policies. Automatic system backups are disabled in the Android Offline edition; keep your own full backups. Do not rely on device backups for recovery.

Moving to the online app

Importing supported records into Our Little Carebook sends them to that separate service and requires its account and subscription. Its online privacy policy then applies.

Device features and deletion

Photo and file access lets you select images and import or export records. Reminder notifications may display care details outside the app. You can delete entries and child profiles in the app. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes local app data; copies you previously exported must be deleted separately. There is no Offline cloud account to delete and no server copy for us to recover.

Purchases and support

The app store processes purchases under its own policies. Contacting support opens your email app; care records are not attached automatically. Messages you send to support are handled through our Zoho-hosted mailbox. Send only information needed to resolve your issue.
